For those of you unfamiliar w/ Deezer, it is an overseas music streaming service that is a direct competitor against Spotify. Well today, they announce their plans for their US arrival. Introducing Deezer Elite: an overseas music streaming service that specializes in deliver high-quality, high-definition audio.
The service brings you millions of 16-bit, lossless audio to your home. Thanks to a partnership w/ Sonos, they’re the only way to give it a shot at the moment. This adds to the already more than 50 music services Sonos provides.
The beta of Deezer Elite launches on September 15th w/ a 30-day free trial. The initial launch price of the service will be at $14.99 a month (set to increase to $19.99 soon), or $120 a year in the US, and will be available globally later. Just go to the Add Music Services, click on More Music and then go to Sonos Labs to get started.
