Over the weekend, we shared w/ you all of the known info on the upcoming Droid flagship from Verizon w/ the Droid Turbo. This morning, VZW’s DroidDoes site went live again. For those of you who don’t know, it is a promo site VZW uses to promote new Droids. The countdown ends on October 28th @12PM EST. Coincidentally enough, there’s a press event that hit our inbox for a Droid event scheduled for the same day. SO this could mean a same day launch as their announcement or the following day.
Its sporting a 5.2inch UHD display, powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 805 CPU, 3GB of RAM, 21MP camera, and a 3900 mAh battery. Think of the new Moto X w/ huge battery and a larger rear-camera sensor. The Turbo looks to combine the sleek and slim body of their entry level Droid w/ the battery of their Maxx variant. Whatever the case, the Turbo is shaping up to be quite the beast of a phone.
