With Android 5.0 Lollipop on the horizon of arriving to most things Android, this is our 1st look at what Gmail will look like w/ Material Design. Thanks to the folks over at Android Police who have been on fire this year, there are some new treats coming to Google’s default email client. More on that below.
Of course you have a new UI which resembles that of the current Google + app for Android. It has rounded avatars, new icons, and possibly more form what we can see thus far. But that’s not the big deal about this. So w/ Gmail 5.0 you can now add your Yahoo + Outlook accounts within the app which is pretty huge. No word on whether or not, these will be the only 2 email clients supported or not.
