HTC has a new Eye camera experience, you can now do a lot more w/ it. You can use voice prompts like “Say Cheese” for photos or “Action” for videos. You can now capture videos using both your front + rear photos simultaneously. You can crop yourself in at any photo w/ a feature called Crop Me In. You can mesh two faces together now as they introduced on the Desire 820.
HTC continues to step up their camera software.
For video calls face-tracking can help to keep up better while keeping the depth of the call. You can also do screenshare so your photos during the video call. For those of you already w/ an HTC device, expect an update to arrive within the next month.
And lastly, HTC launched Zoe in beta available to other Android devices in the Play Store this summer. Now the app is making its way to iOS. That’s right, Zoes on the iPhone. As it is now offering a social community for collaborating + sharing your highlight reels to the world. Look out for the app on the App Store sometime before the year is out.
