After getting a rave reception at its unveiling, we now have a launch date for the latest Super Smash Bros. Its already out and being enjoyed on the 3DS which is said to have already sold 2.8 million copies. So the date is November 21st for the Wii U. Arriving before Thanksgiving and the holidays.
But that’s not all. The Smash Bros are coming w/ the new NFC-supported Amiibo figures. Working just like the figures for Skylanders and Disney Infinity. At launch characters like Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Link, Fox, Samus, Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, Pikachu, Kirby, and Marth for $12.99 per figure. The 2nd wave arrives sometime in December.
There were also adapters to work for the GameCube or WaveBird controllers too at $19.99 per adapter.
