Now we already showed you what to expect from Samsung in regards to what Android 5.0 will look like on their flagships and now its time for HTC. Yesterday leaker @LlabTooFeR revealed some screenshots showing off what Lollipop looks like on the M8. Just don’t expect Lollipop + Material Design to take over HTC’s Sense UI.
As you can see from the shots above, the changes are more subtle than I’m sure most of you would have liked. They implemented the new notifications for the lockscreen as well as every other screen. You have the quick settings on top of the notifications when you swipe down twice. Even the Recent Apps or multitasking gets the Lollipop treatment w an interesting icon for creating notes or something that has yet to revealed. Looking forward to seeing what’s new when it arrives.
HTC wants to not be too far behind of Nexus owners as promising M8 owners to have the latest version of Android within 90 days of November 3rd. Hopefully US carrier testing doesn’t delay that any longer.
