While originally set to launch on 29th, it looks like the anticipated Halo 5 Multiplayer beta will go live on Xbox One later today. The video above shows you exactly what to expect. They’re offering new maps, modes, weapons, and Spartan Abilities as part of the 3-week beta. They got 7 new maps, 2 new weapons, and new modes arriving on a weekly basis. You even have the option to just kickback and watch everyone else shoot it out in Spectator Mode.
The early access kicks off at 4PM ET and end at 3AM ET on December 22nd. The actual multiplayer period is form December 29th to January 18th BTW. Red vs. Blue begins shortly for the initiated.
