While there are plenty of camera apps on the market right now that allows for more control over how you take your photos, this one might be the best thus far. Introducing Camera FV-5: an app that allows DSLR-like manual controls for your Android smartphone. While the app has been out since mid-February of this year, it has recently gotten even better. Thanks to Lollipop new camera APIs, the app can now shoot RAW images on top of controlling shutter speeds, ISO, aperture, etc.
At the current time, the newest updates only work w/ the Nexus 5 + 6 as Lollipop is only on Nexus + Motorola devices at the moment. But when other OEMs get their Lollipop update, other will join the party. There is a limited free version and the full + robust paid version ($3.95) on the Play Store. We know iPhones have been known for their breath-taking photography thanks to its sensors + apps. Now its time for Android to get some of that as well.
