windows 10 family
While things have been quiet while awaiting more details to arrive for the next big update for Windows, there’s new talks of some thing new arriving to Microsoft’s ecosystem.  According to Mary Jo Foley of ZDNet, Microsoft is looking into integrating Android apps into the Windows 10 + Windows Phone platform some time next year.  This would be part of their push for developer enthusiasm  to close the app gap.

As of September, Microsoft had around 527,000 Metro apps within the Windows + Windows Phone Store combined.  Most of the them for Windows Phone as it totaled to about 340,000.  There are plenty of apps within the Google Play Store + Apple’s App Store to choose from.  The decision to run Android apps would only be considered as a last resort.  Microsoft is still debating on whether or not to pull the trigger.

The app company 6Tag can’t save WP alone.  What do you guys think on the matter?
