The Weekend Stream: Holiday Edition

Christmas is literally right around the corner and following that is New year as well.   Instead of our typical selections of tunes, TV shows, + movies, we figured we'd switch things up and get into the holiday spirit in time for Christmas.  While its been a relatively slow week other than the big Sony hack that caused the movie'The interview' to not be released along w/ other revealing documents hitting the web.   We got some holiday tunes along w/ a few movie picks for streaming to get you all ready for this upcoming Thursday.  Enjoy as we wish you and yours a happy holiday from all of us here @TGSB.  

Muppets Christmas Carol (Netflix)

The classic retelling of a Christmas Carol starring the entire cast of Jim Henson's Muppets.  Kermit the Frog plays Bob Cratchit and Michael Caine plays his boss, Ebenezer Scrooge.  Other muppets play the roles of the 3 ghosts who visit Scrooge and other characters throughout the tale.  This is great flick to watch w/ your kids.  

Scrooged (Netflix)

Bill Murray stars in this more modern twist of a Christmas Carol as cold-hearted TV executive who gets a visit from 3 spirits.  These aren't your usual spirits as it is funny, you still get to see him find his way to rediscovering the holiday spirit.
