TGSB-Surface-hands-on
One of the few things that kind of got skimmed over in Microsoft’s big unveiling yesterday was more details on backward compatibility.   We now have more details that applies to those running Windows RT.  For the uninitiated, RT is a sort of watered-down version of the OS running ARM-based processors.  There was plenty of devices utilizing the OS like the RT versions of the Surface + Surface 2, Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet, Dell XPS 10, and the Lenovo Yoga 11.

Consider this the nail in Windows RT forgotten coffin.

Now it isn’t all bad as RT devices will get some sort of features from Windows 10 but not everything.  And by some, I mean the universal core apps from Windows 10 and that’s about it.  So in other words, if you’re running RT, its time to get some of that new Windows hotness.
