TGSB-Google-Glass-live
Earlier today, Google revealed some interesting news in regards to Glass or at least the Explorer Edition of the futuristic eyewear.   After 2 years, they have decided to close it down.  So for consumers still wishing to drop $1,500 + tax on it, you have until January 19th.   But that’s not all.

The retail version of Glass cometh.

Does this mean the end for Glass?  Not at all.  This means Glass has ‘graduated’ from the experimental Google X Program to become its own division.  The recently-acquired Nest team is now heading up Google Glass.   This gives Tony Fadell and his team a lot more control over at Google.

This makes me very curious and excited to see what the final version of Glass will look like.  How about you? If the retail version is around $500 and looks good, are you buying one?  Sound off.
