Bad news for those who actually used Sony’s Music Unlimited service on their PlayStation console. Its shutting down on March 29th for those of you w/ a subscription until February 28th. The good news is that Spotify is coming to PlayStation Music. Yay! This will bring more than 30 million songs and 1.5 billion playlists to the PS3/PS4 and Xperia smartphones and tablets.
Of course, you’ll need to be PlayStation Network user to access it. Gamers on the PS4 can use Spotify while playing games as songs will play in the background. Spotify on PlayStation Music will launch in the US, Canada, Mexico , and Brazil.
No exact date or whether or not Spotify will be a PlayStation exclusive or not.
