Up next on Apple’s Spring Forward event, the new MacBook. Everything about it was pretty spot on w/ the previous leaks + rumors about it. This is Apple’s thinnest + lightest MacBook to date. Weighing in at only 2lbs and is only 13.1mm thin, this was completely new design to make this happen.
The is the 1st fanless MacBook – and it comes in Gold.
As far as what else is new; it has a 12inch Retina display w/ 2304 x 1440 resolution, new backlit keyboard technology, a new glass force sense trackpad, starts w/ a 1.1GHz dual-core Intel Core M CPU, 8GB of RAM, 256GBSSD, and touting all-day battery life of up to 10 hours on a single charge. The new batteries is thanks to new technologies that created a bunch of batteries inside in the form of sheets.
It has a new USB-C port that allows only one port to work w/ VGA, HDMI, power, and displays ports as well. Since thats the only port, it has the new wireless technologies like Wi-Fi ac and Bluetooth 4.0 as it will work w/ your Mac + iPhones.
The new MacBooks starts at $1299 and more powerful specs for $1599 as it will begin shipping on April 10th. It will arrive in your choice of Gold, Space Gray, and Silver colors.
