Today is the day for the big reveal for all things Black Ops III. As you can see above, we see what warfare looks like in the year 2065. Unfortunately combat technology is out of control a bit. Not quite Skynet but more like the beginning stages of it. But don’t expect to see too many features seen from Advanced Warfare here as Treyarch is a different developer behind this one.
Black Ops goes high-tech in hopes to not confuse you w/ Advanced Warfare.
On the multiplayer side of things, expect to see the return of Zombies as well as more features. One of these are called Specialists, where you pick one of 9 characters w/ their own unique weapon, speciality, and personality. Specialists can level up along w/ their own version of a scorestreak as well. They aim to change the way competitive COD multiplayer is played.
The movement in multiplayer will add unlimited sprinting where you can hop over objects while firing, move up ledges faster, thrust jump (close by not quite the Exo jump from AW), power slide, wall run, and even swim. And lastly, the Gunsmith feature gets added to the mix. Think of this as the next level of weapon customization. You will be able to create visual variants of existing weapons like add your choice of optics, up to 5 attachments, custom paintjobs and camo skins.
Black Ops III is coming on November 6th for PC, PlayStation 4, and the Xbox One.
