Yesterday, the house of Mario made plenty of great announcements during their Nintendo Direct conference. One of the more important ones was them adding more support for classic titles for the Wii U.
Through its Virtual Console, the Wii U will get classic N64 and DS games to download. Already available are Yoshi’s Island DS and Super Mario 64 for $9.99 each. DS games will get multiple display figuration so dual screen-based games won’t look terrible.
This is only the beginning as plenty of classic titles like Mario Kart DS, Donkey Kong 64, Paper Mario and more will become available by the end of the month.
Looks like Nintendo is ready to play – finally.
