T-Mobile is back at it again. While this isn’t a new ‘UnCarrier’ initiative, this is a direct assault to one of their biggest competitors: Verizon Wireless. As part of their new ‘Never Settle’ promo, they’re offering VZW customers a free 2-week trial w/ T-Mo to gain more subscribers.
Those who partake w/ the promo will be able to use a T-Mo decide and enjoy the many benefits the carrier has to offer like: Wi-Fi calling, free music streaming, more data, rollover data, no 2-year contracts, and a cheaper phone bill. VZW customers who want to make the switch after the trial can just port their phone number over as T-Mo will handle your ETFs (up to $650) or outstanding device payment plan. If you try it and don’t like it, T-Mo will still cover your costs of any service costs incurred during the trial as well as whatever it costs to start back up w/ Verizon like activation or other fees.
VZW is the number 1 wireless carrier here in the US w/ AT&T in 2nd as T-Mo recently acquired the 3rd spot from Sprint – who is now in 4th place in regards to subscribers according T-Mo CEO John Legere.
