Looks like YouTube is ready provide an alternative to live game-streaming other than Twitch. Other than just offering the same kind of service by itself, they’re looking to match them on their frames per second.
So live streaming on YouTube at 60fps is now a real thing. The feature is now available as an early preview as it will work on any browser supporting HTML5. They also look to have your streams available in 30fps for those of you on devices that can’t support higher frame rates. They’re looking to expand support within coming weeks.
Since YouTube lost out on the bidding war to acquire the company to Amazon last August, they appear to have found their footing to make a great alternative. YouTube may unveil their own in-house game streaming service at E3 next month.
