Earlier this morning at Computex in Taipei, ASUS made the ZenWatch 2 official. While the 1st model has only been out for a few months, ASUS took no time to work and announce the sequel to it.
This is running the newest Android Wear 5.1.1 update of course since the original one wouldn’t support it. It will now arrive in 2 sizes for bigger + smaller wrists, a new Power button located on the side, magnetic charger for quicker charging, and it is now IP67 water/dust resistant to shower in. In regards to the looks of it, it will now arrive in 18 different combinations of colors & materials. You have Silver, gunmetal, or Rose Gold color options for the case and your choice of a stainless steel, bright rubber straps, and a leather straps. The curved AMOLED display is covered w/ Gorilla Glass 3.
There’s no word as of yet in regards to release dates for it but I would say that we’re at least a few months away. Anyone plan on picking this up when it comes out?
