PS4

Wrapping things up for the day is Sony.  They wanted to definitely make sure they left a lasting impression for you PS4 owners out there.  Instead of breaking everything down into many single posts, we wanted to just have all of their big game unveilings here in one spot for you all.

The Last Guardian

After being teased for a while Sony made sure to kick off their E3 event by showing off actually gameplay footage from The Last Guardian.  The game was originally announced in 2009 as it was supposed to be out in 2011 and has been worked on since 2007.  The video above shows off  a young boy and his animal friend Trico to help each other solve puzzles to get out of the crumbling city.  It is due out sometime in 2016 for the PS4.

Hitman

Agent 47 returns yet again for another installment of the Hitman series titled simply Hitman.  We see a montage of visuals before we see a few people die while Agent 47 is training and is welcomed back into the world of assassins.  A global banking conspiracy appears to be the underlining plot.  It is said to be out by December 8th and will make its way to consoles & the PC.

Destiny: The Taken King Expansion

Sony remains the home to get the best experience for Destiny.  They announced a new expansion pack called The Taken King.  In the game’s 1st expansion pack, you took down Crota, thew son of Oryx and now Oryx is coming.  The DLC will include new subclasses, new super moves, new maps, gear, and of course,  a new mission.  The pack will cost you $40 while the Collector’s Editions that includes the original game will be $80.  This will also be available on September 15th.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake

Its finally happening.  I know this has been on the wishlist of many gamers of yesteryear as Final Fantasy 7 is getting remade for next-gem consoles.  This is not a port either but a fully remaster or recreated game.  It will be on PS4 1st then make its way to other consoles as well.  It will be nice to see Sephiroth, Knights Of The Round, & more on today’s consoles.  No date on when we can expect it though.

Street Fighter V

We know that another Street Fighter was coming and we knew that Sony would get 1st dibs.  What we didn’t know is that Capcom would add more characters before its beta or launch.  The new trailer shows off Cammy, who’s been around since they unveiled in Super SF II: New Challengers, and Birdie, who was actually in the original SF, into the mix.  The game arrive in March of 2016 while the pre-order beta will come to the PS4 in July.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops III

Call Of Duty at Sony’s E3 event?  Yup.  Sony has taken COD exclusivity from Microsoft this time around.  So for COD: Black Ops III, PS4 will get all of the new map packs first – from here on out.  Even the multiplayer beta will launch on the PS4 in August exclusively.  The multiplayer looks as intense as it always does.  I  mean this in a good way.  The game will be out later this year on November 6th for the PC, PS4, & Xbox One.  The title is also making its way to the PS3 & Xbox 360.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

And closing things out is more footage from their upcoming blockbuster: Uncharted 4.  You get to see Nathan in action as you see amazing detail as he moves through the crowds, drives off-terrain and into huts, and even some shooting.  If you ever doubted the true power of the PS4, this is it.  Uncharted will be out sometime in 2016.
