Now that Microsoft is finished unveiling all of their new goodies to make us Xbox One owners happy. For those of you who may have missed it, here’s a list of all of the new games & updates on games we already knew about for their next-gen console.
Halo 5: Guardians
New to Halo 5 is a new 24-player multiplayer mode called Warzone. Your competition is controlled by AI and maps are 4x times the size of previous ones. This is a multiplayer campaign that you can see in action above. FYI: Both single & multiplayer modes of the game will run at 60fps.
Fallout 4
Having only been announced last night, Fallout 4 is already stealing the hearts of gamers at E3. They already showed the trailer and announced some things yesterday but today there’s even more news. This game will support mods that were created on the PC will be able to be moved tot he Xbox One. Which is pretty huge as this hasn’t been something that you could do on console gaming ever before.
Forza Motorsport 6
Forza 6 has been officially announced & unveiled. It will be available on my b-day (September 15th) this year. It will be able to support a 24-person multiplayer gaming across 26 real-life racing tracks form around the world and more than 450 cars to choose from. Thanks toa partnership w/ Ford, Forza 6 will include the new Ford GT, Shelby GT350, and F-150 Raptor. The game will run 1080p at 60fps, BTW.
Rainbow 6 Siege
Ubisoft took to the stage to show off their newest installment of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Siege. The new game will be laid out like a 4-player vs. 4-player tactical game. But wait, there’s more. When you buy this title, you get both Rainbow 6 Vegas & Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 absolutely for free.
Rise Of The Tomb Raider
We finally got our release date for the next installment of the Tomb Raider prequel. You’ll be able to get it right before Thanksgiving on November 10th. It will be a timed exclusive to the Xbox One as it is also making its way to the Xbox 360 as well. I don’t know about you guys but I have been definitely waiting for this one.
Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition
As it has been previously rumored, Gears Of War is getting remastered for the Xbox One. It will be another 108p games w/ 60fps. In celebration of its 10th-year anniversary, Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition is on the way. it will be out on August 25th but a public beta will be available sometime today.
Gears Of War 4
We knew it was coming. The return of the Gears Of War franchise has returned and now under new management. It was created under Epic Games, then purchased by Microsoft, then brought over to their in-house Black Tusk Studios and has been renamed the Coalition. It is led under the original GOW producer, Rod Fergusson. We did get to see live gameplay from it involving 2 new players hunting a creature who easily becomes the hunted. It is set to launch sometime during the holiday of 2016.
Rare Replay
While we didn’t ge the news of a new Battletoads. We did get something possibly even better (depending on how old you are). Rare is the company behind plenty of classic titles like Battletoads, RC Pro-Am, Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, and plenty of others. They’re bringing 30 titles of their anthology to the Xbox One as the Rare Replay collection. It is a homage of their 30-year history for only $30. It will be available on August 4th.
