UE is definitely doing a great job w/ their lineup of Boom series (mini, regular, & mega). Earlier this week, Ultimate Ears unveiled a new member to their already impressive family of Bluetooth speakers w/ the UE Roll. So who is this for? Well, I’m glad you asked.
This is a round speaker that is lightweight at 12oz as it is designed for adventure/thrill seekers or those of you who like do things a bit more than the average couch potato. It can pump out 360-degree sound and it is plasma-coated acoustic skin making it IPX7 waterproof & resistant to dirt, dust, & stains. The Roll is powered by a lithium-ion battery that gives you 9-hours on a single charge. Did we mention that it is a Bluetooth speaker? Well it is w/ a 65-ft range. Lastly, it has a marine-grade bungie cord which you can use to attach it to anything you can think of.
You can update it and pair using the UE Roll app just like their UE Boom series of devices. It comes in your choice of 6 different colors: Sugar Plum, Volcano, Atmosphere, Sriracha, Piñata, & Reef. It is priced at $100 and is available now on Amazon or UE’s site.
