Apple made sure to leave no stone unturned by moving onto new info on their smartwatch. They decided to follow the path of the original iPhone by giving the Apple Watch its own OS. It is called watchOS 2 and brings tons of features/functionality to the table.
New watch faces including Photo Album face w/ your own photos and Time Lapse face which utilizes a 24-hour timelapse of different locations shot at different places. You can now see upcoming calendar events + temperatures via the digital crown this is called Time Travel. There’s a new nightstand mode that shows charge, time, and alarm as you can see in the photo above. You can now use more than one color within the Digital Touch drawings. You now have FaceTime Audio, the ability to reply to emails from your watch, Apple Pay support, transit directions now on Maps, and Siri gets more support within the Watch.
