Yesterday afternoon, Honda threw its hat into the connected car market w/ this latest announcement. Expect the 2016 Accord to support both Android Auto & CarPlay. This makes only a small handful of vehicles that will offer support for both instead of choosing a side.

Honda’s newest Accord is said to be their most high-tech yet. Touting features like collision warnings, lane assistance, adaptive cruise control, auto high beams, rear-heated seats, standard rear-view camera, HD Radio support, a 7inch touchscreen, sitting on 19inch rims.
Android Auto & CarPlay will arrive on the Accord EX trim and higher and go on sale sometime next month. More details about the vehicle and the Hyrbid version will be unveiled at a later date.
