Yesterday, Plantronics announced their new member of the Backbeat headphone family w/ the Sense. It offers many of the same features which made the BackBeat Pro great but in a smaller & more lightweight build. This is not just the marketing talking as these things are exactly that.
For some of the info behind it, it has a memory foam cushions along w/ a self-adjusting headband to help it weigh in at only 140 grams. It can connect to 2 Bluetooth devices at the same time w/ a range of up to 330ft. Inside is an 18-hour battery life and OpenMic technology that allows you to hear the outside world w/ a touch of a button. The smart sensors on board that automatically pauses your music when take them off and resumes play when you put them back on. A dual mic setup that supports HD Voice for phone calls as well as Cortana, Google Now, and Siri for your smartphone.
They retail for $179.99 and arrives in your color choice of Black/Espresso or White/Tan. You can pick these up right now on Platronics’s site as well as T-Mobile. Starting in August, it will be sold worldwide in various retailers.
