Just like Sony wanted to create a separate lens to connect to your smartphone, its time for Olympus to enter that arena as well. They’re unveiled their Air A01 earlier this year and now we have their availability and pricing for it.
For a recap, the Olympus Air A01 is a micro four-thirds camera 16MP lens. With it you get the ability to shoot photos in RAW, 1080p video recording, continuous shooting at 10fps, electronic shutter w/ a1/16,000-second shutter speed, and full compatibility w/ all of Olympus’ micro four-thirds lenses. It can connect to your smartphone via the Olympus Air app by the way of Wi-Fi.
it was available in Japan before and now finally making its way to the states. You can look out for the lens to launch in July in the US for $299 and in August in Canada for$399.
