Even though we got a little bit on what to expect in regards to pricing yesterday, OnePlus isn’t stopping w/ its new marketing blitz. Earlier today, they unveiled more news about the internals: namely the RAM inside.
This year, OnePlus is going w/ 4GB of RAM inside of the OnePlus 2. Not just a huge amount of RAM but DDR4 as well. Atypical smartphones have been utilizing DDR3 as w/ DDR4, you can get lower power consumption, better battery efficiency, and twice the bandwidth performance.
So at the moment we’re looking at 4GB of RAM, a price point under $450, a fingerprint scanner, charging via USB Type-C and a cooler Snapdragon 810 CPU. This shaping up to be quite the flagship device but at a higher premium. I hope you’re getting you’re $$$ ready for later this month.
