Apparently previous leaks of Huawei’s 1st Nexus was either incorrect or not the final model. Looks like this might be the final version of what may become available to consumers. And it looks really, really good.
It looks super slim & sexy in regards to its design language. The newer look touts the Nexus logo on the rear along w/ the expected fingerprint scanner, and a protruding camera sensor reminiscent of the early Motorola Droid devices for Verizon. Not sure what Huawei will be offering as far as camera features. Could be laser-auto-focus or a depth sensor or something? We’ll have to wait and see on that one. In regards to the front of the device, we see a front-facing shooter and what appears to be dual, front-facing speakers.
Rumors have it pegged to offer a 64GB storage option and charge via USB Type-C. This will be one of 2 Nexus devices set to arrive in a few months. Huawei has been tasked by Google to create the larger phablet size while LG will handle the smaller 5.2inch one.
