Samsung unveiled their new fall lineup of Galaxy devices a little earlier than usual. We kind of already knew it but #TheNextGalaxy is really 2 devices: the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+. One is aimed for media consumption and the other is for multitasking. Both of slim and sexy though.
Samsung’s new design expands to the Note & a bigger S6.
The internals of the 2 devices are pretty much the same minus the fact of the new-and-improved S-Pen on the Note. Both devices sport a 5.7inch QHD Super AMOLED display, Samsung’s new advanced camera system w/ improved dynamic range, f/1.9 16MP shooter on the rear and a f/1.9 5MP in the front, high quality audio when recording video, 4GB of RAM, a 3000 mAh battery, choice of 32GB or 64GB of storage and new video features w/ Video Collage & Live Broadcast directly to YouTube.
The microSD slot & removable battery are officially now part of Samsung’s past.
The S6 edge+ is literally a giant Galaxy S6 edge. For those of you who love and need that bigger screen. No specs get watered down in this variant thank god. I am curious to see how the bigger screen will impact the battery life. The Note 5 is a lot sexier, slimmer, and a premium-build. The S-Pen is now clickable like a real ballpoint pen.
You can pre-order your S6 edge+ or Note 5 today at 3PM EST on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon. Both devices will go on sale next week on August 21st.
