BlackBerry’s forthcoming Android-powered slider codenamed the Venice. We told you about and showed a few leaked images on what the hardware will look like. Now thanks to a new report from the folks over at Android Authority, we get a glimpse at what the software will look like.
It is said to run Android Lollipop but we can see from these images that Blackberry will be adding some of its own flavor to the device. We custom icons of Search & Email along w/ the Google Now swiping shortcut, we see the Settings menu reminiscent of Samsung’s layout on their Galaxy devices, and we see BlackBerry’s widgets baked within Android.
Rumors have it set to offer a 5.4inch display, powered by a Snapdragon 808 CPU, 3GB of RAM, and an 18MP rear-shooter. Also pegged for a November release date but I’m not exactly not sure who this device is made for. Who’s interested in buying this?
