TGSB-Chromecast-reviewGoogle’s beloved Chromecast has changed the game w/ big sales and started the trend for streaming sticks.  Looks like they’re ready to finally bring forth the sequel as part of a refresh w/ new features.  According to the folks over at 9to5Google, we may see it at the rumored Google event on September 29th.

First things first: the new Chromecast will offer faster Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, it is said to arrive w/ a feeds option to select content or images to show up on the homescreen, a new Fast Play mode that allows the Chromecast to prioritize the connection to play content faster, and the new Chromecast Audio will allow the streamer to connect to your speaker via auxiliary jack to stream content directly for multi-room playback & high-quality audio.

So its looking like the Google event will have a new streaming stick, and 2 new Nexus smartphones.  Thoughts on the new features on the 2nd-gen Chromecast?
