Today is a great day for all of you Nexus owners out there as Android 6.0 Marshmallow is now available. Factory images were available since earlier today while the OTA also started to rollout today as well. Anyone w/ a Nexus 5, 6, 7, 9, or Nexus Player can take advantage of the newest OS from Google.
Even though Android Pay is now available to all things Android, the new OS comes w/ Google Now On Tap which pretty much Google’s any particular info (like names, places, media, etc.) w/o having t leave an app or go to the Google Search bar, Doze which better handles tasks/apps for better battery life, support for fingerprint sensors & devices that use USB Type-C, app permissions, and a host of other new features/UI enhancements to the OS.
If you are a Nexus user, enjoy! As everyone else will have to wait until the carriers do their testing and such on it before getting it.
