We’re just over one week away from seeing what HTC has to unveil in regards to their newest One device running Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The folks over at OnLeaks, got a hold of some photos on the device we expect to see.
Say hello to the HTC One A9: a familiar-looking design for their new mid-level device. These photos are from a dummy unit from AT&T that allows to get a good look at what’s coming ahead. From a hardware point of view we see a curved unibody design w/ antenna lines, a bottom-firing speaker (looks liek no BoomSound here, boo), microUSB charging port, a fingerprint scanner in the front, IR blaster on the top, and headphone jack on the rear.
In regards to the internals you have a 5inch 1080p AMOLED display, powered by a Snapdragon 617 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage w/ a microSD card slot, a 4MP Ultrapixel on the front & a 13MP rear-facing cameras, running Android 6.0 w/ Sense 7 UI, and a 2150 mAh battery.
Definitely a different approach to HTC’s devices. Not sure if there will be another flagship device coming along w/ the One A9 but we don’t have a long wait to find out.
