There have been talks of the return of a smaller iPhone for a few years now and it looks like the reports/rumors have resurfaced. A new report from a more accurate than less analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, says we will get just that sometime early next year.
Apple looks to do their best Nexus 5X impression w/ a smaller iPhone.
Word has it that Apple will be building a smaller 4inch iPhone that will be equipped w/ everything the modern iDevices have for the most part. It will be powered by an A9 CPU, sport an NFC chip inside to utilize Apple Pay, and a the same shooter inside the 6S. But don’t expect a measly plastic frame on this one. It is said to have a metal frame and arrive in 2 or 3 different color options.
Kuo expects the new, smaller iPhone to be priced within the $400-$500 price point. Making this the official 3rd option for Apple to push on. Probably alongside older iPhones at a discounted rate as well. So who’s interested in this one?
