A new update was just unveiled for Instagram’s beta users on Android. This new update might have you confused w/ the iPhone’s 3D Touch, but they brought those features over to all most things Android. The new update will allow you to view photos via long press to peak at thumbnails as well as being able to like, comment and DM via IG Direct. This applies to their videos as well.
