HP also has another new treat to bring to CES w/ their new-and-improved Pavilion line. New specs make this a more affordable convertible w/o sacrificing too much power.
The new x2 has an all-metal body sports a thin design weighing in at 1.6lbs w/ the tablet alone & 3.23lbs w/ the keyboard attached. With its magnetic hinge, you can still transform it from tablet to notebook to tent mode to stand mode w/ ease.
The x2 offers a 12.1inch 1080p display powered by your choice of Intel Atom w/ up to 128GB storage or Core M w/ 128GB or 256GB SSD, 2GB of RAM, up to an 8-hour battery life, dual front-facing speakers powered by Bang & Olufsen, charges via USB-C, 1 USB 2.0, 1 USB 3.0, and a micro HDMI port for external display support.
The new Pavilion x2 will be available on February 7th starting at $499.99. You'll be able to pick one up at HP.com or at select retailers. Definitely gonna be hard to pick between this and the new Spectre x360 as they're both amazing devices.
