Well, it looks like Hell as officially frozen over. Well, not literally but damn-near. Today Microsoft announced something gamers have been wanting for a while now: cross-platform play. So that means you’ll finally be able to play against PC & PS4 gamers online. Which should end the years of shit-talking amongst friends on different platforms.
Of course, you won’t be able to play w/ games already out but games from here on out. Developers will now be able to build out games to support this feature. It will require Sony to join in on the fun in order for this to happen though. The 1st title to support will be Rocket League as it will have an open invite for other consoles to join in on the fun.
Quite the interesting move on Microsoft’s part. PSN & Xbox Live gamers working hand-in-hand? Its coming. Are you ready?
