Acer has been at the top of the Chromebook cusp for quite some time now and they don't plan on stopping now. Today they unveiled their 1st Chromebook complaint w/ Google's Chrome for Work initiative. Say hello to the Chromebook 14 for Work.
So what's new w/ this Chromebook you might ask? This is now the fastest, if not the fastest, in the market right now. You have the chipset option for an Intel Celeron, Intel's Core i3 or i5 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and offers up to 12 hours of battery life. You also have the option for a 14inch HD (1366 x768) or a 1080p LCD display. The webcam onboard can record video at 720p HD as well as take HDR photos.
But wait, there's more. It is now super-durable as it sports a Vibrant Gorilla Glass case coupled w/ a spill-resistant keyboard. It has been drop-tested up to 4ft and fits within the Military Standard of 810G so this is no joke.
