AT&T has been taking full advantage of their DirecTV merger and continues to do so w/ their latest announcement. Introducing Access from AT&T: their new home internet service for low-income households.
Access offers up 3 different speed tiers for you to choose from w/ 3Mbps ($5 monthly), 5Mbps, & 10Mbps ($10 monthly). The Access program is made for those have at least one household member who is receiving SNAP (US Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and has an address within their 21-state service area.
The new Access service will be available and run until April 2020.
