There were talks about it happening and earlier today it has been actually confirmed. Google announced the arrival of Podcasts now in Google Play Music.
So now you can search for your favorite shows, discover new ones, and get alerts to when new episodes arrive. The addition has already started rolling out to Android as it is already available for web users. Those of you on iOS will have to play the waiting game, though.
I’ve been looking forward to this as I would no longer have to switch between 2 apps for my music and podcasting needs. Definitely exciting times await for Google Music users.
