It is official and here. Say hello to Google Home: a small, cylinder speaker to compete w/ Amazon’s Echo speaker. The design isn’t too far off from their OnHub router. It will have a modular case and some LED lights on board. It will plug into the wall and will always be listening.

It will be able to answer your questions, play music, and control your smart home automation by voice. But let’s not forget that it is a powerful speaker that can fill the room w/ strong bass & clear highs.
Google Home won’t support multiple Google accounts at launch but will arrive later, though. Home will work w/ the Nest, other smart home products, Chromecast, and Chromecast Audio.
