To make up for Destiny 2 getting delayed to 2017, the Bungie team is going to release a new expansion pack to follow up The Taken King. Get ready for Destiny: Rise Of Iron coming to next-gen consoles on September 20th. Sorry PS3 & Xbox 360 gamers, this is where Bungie is drawing the line more or less.
FYI: The new expansion pack will require to have The Taken King installed to play. It is a new story following the lead of Lord Saladin to go up against a new faction of the Fallen Devils: the Splicers. All while uncovering what happened to the Iron Lords. You get a new campaign kicking off int he Plaguelands that offers new weapons, armor, gear, a new co-op 3-player Strike mode, new maps for the Crucible, and a new 6-player Raid.
Will this expansion get you back into the world of Destiny?
