Looking to match the timeframe of last year’s launch, Samsung is said to release their 3rd iteration of their Gear S smartwatch. Like last year, it will be unveiled at this year’s IFA in Berlin that kick off on September 2nd. This bit of news arrives courtesy of the folks over at SamMobile.
No word as of yet in regards to what changes may come to the wearable device. We expect it to still run its own Tizen OS as well as using the bezel for navigation. That’s about it but there’s still plenty of time between now and then for more details to become available as they usually do.
So we’ll see the new Note next week and the new Gear S next month. Definitely, a great time to be a Samsung fan.
