After years of pumping out smartphones, Xiaomi is now shifting gears over to the laptop side of things. Meet the thin & light Mi Notebook Air: named & modeled after Apple’s MacBook Air. It will be a powerful Windows laptop arriving in 2 different flavors/colors.
The Mi Air will come in a lightweight 12.5inch & a 13.3inch model. The bigger display will offer up the more powerful specs w/ an Intel Core i5 CPU, 256GB SSD, a NVIDIA GeForce 940MX GPU to handle high-end gaming, and a 9 and a half battery life. The 12.5inch model will have a Intel Core M3 CPU, integrated graphics, a 128GB SSD, and an 11 and a half hour battery life.
The 12.5inch Mi Air is supposed to be around $525 while the 13.3inch model will be around $750. Both laptops will be available in China on August 2nd while we’ll still have to wait for the launch details for the 2 everywhere else in the world.
