Almost time to put the new Note rumors to rest as we got the official announcement/invite for the Galaxy Unpacked event. Time to get ready for the Galaxy Note 7: no Note 6 as we got from 5 to 7. Unless you don’t count the Note Edge that came out w/ the Note 4, Samsung’s math is correct. The Note 7 will perfectly align w/ the rest of the Galaxy line: the S7 & S7 edge.
The Note 7 is said to offer a 5.7inch curved display like the S7 edge, a slightly enhanced version of TouchWiz, the same awesome 12MP DualPixel camera on the rear, 6GB of RAM, IP68 water-resistance, enhanced S-Pen, an iris scanner, and a 4000 mAh battery inside.
The event kicks off in NYC on August 2nd w/ satellite events in London & Rio de Janeiro as well as it being livestreamed online.
