Yesterday, the Internet ( or at least, my view of it) was talking about the latest tech + innovation from Lenovo. Introducing the Yoga Book: their 2-in-1 hybrid tablet w/ keyboard + pen. Now it might sound like the Surface but as we explain it a bit further, it's actually closer to Microsoft's vision of the Courier instead.
Think Google's Pixel C but executed way better.
The Yoga Book tablet utilizes 2 pieces (display + touch-sensitive surface powered by Wacom) crafted of magnesium alloy and connect using the same + amazing 'watchband' hinge to connect the 2 pieces. The top part houses a 10.1inch touchscreen w/ 1900 x 1200 resolution to handle all of the visuals. While the bottom part can change from a Halo keyboard as well as to write/draw on it. The Yoga Book has its own stylus pen to use on both the bottom part as well add an ink cartridge to use on a real paper that the input will be copied into the Yoga Book. That's so dope.
In regards to internals goes it will offer a 2.4GHz quad-core Intel Atom 5x CPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage expandable via microSD card slot, 2MP front-facing + 8MP rear-facing shooter, GPS, sound courtesy of Dolby Audio Premium, and arrives in your choice of Android Marshmallow + Windows 10/10 Pro software.
Both versions of the Yoga Book are due out in October w/ the Android version priced at $499 and the Windows 10 version priced at $549. Both versions will ship w/ the stylus pen and LTE radios. The Android version will offer a 15-hour battery while the Windows version offers a 13-hour battery.
This is some impressive stuff going on here. So who's wants one?
