Earlier this morning, we got a new launch trailer for Gears Of War 4. This one gives us a better look at the new world many years after the locust hordes from the 1st 3 parts of the GOW lore. Now we see the new generation of COGs when the locust returns.
We see J.D. Fenix (son of the previous protagonist Marcus Fenix), Kait, Del, and Marcus himself. We see guns and bad guys but the trailer adds a new treat to the mix: mech suits. Which we haven’t seen since GOW 3 but have been upgraded to match the larger locust horde of this generation.
Gears Of War 4 is due out on October 11th for both Xbox One/One S and Windows. This title will also support Xbox Play Anywhere to play on both platforms. There is also a $100 special edition that grants gamers access to the game starting on October 7th.
