Among the plenty of hardware announced today, Google wants to do a better job in handling the wi-fi in your home w/ Google Wi-Fi. They went for the white hockey puck design w/an LED ring. It can be sold as a single unit or as a 3-pack bundle.

It is made to offer a more powerful connection by creating a mesh wi-fi network to give you fast internet speeds everywhere in your home. It supports AC1200 speeds along w/ dual-band 2.4GHz & 5GHz networks, Bluetooth Smart + beamforming technology, and 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports per unit. Like OnHub, everything can be managed via smartphone app to better personalization for your home network as well as parental controls.
This isn’t to completely get rid of their OnHub routers but to better compliment it – more or less. It will priced at $129 for one/$299 for 3 and up for pre-order next month at the Google Store, Amazon, Best Buy,and Walmart.
