Kicking off Microsoft’s event today is new software – namely a new Windows update aimed towards creators + 3D. It will specialize in augmented/virtual realities giving everyone tools to create in 3D, collaborate easier + natively, and 4K gaming.
Apart fo the new update is Paint 3D. This will allow everyone to draw or scan images in 3D – basically replacing the need for the HP Sprout. This will work on smartphones and tablets as well as PCs. Minecraft gamers will appreciate this the most as you will be able to 3D print your Minecraft creations.
Microsoft plans to bring the 3D abilities to its other core apps within the Office suite of apps int he near future. It’s called the Windows 10 Creator Update and is set to arrive sometime next Spring.
