So the deal is that the actual watch is an mechanical watch w/ moving parts and everything. Believe it or not, the actual band is what ties it and shares/receives info to your smartphone. The strap offers the same look as your average watch but does a good job in hiding the electronics within. The Origin syncs w/ an app available on both Android & iOS. This is where it tracks fitness data, vibrate for phone notifications, music control, and more.
